- 1 / 5By Roberta L.I was there for a private party recently and had been looking forward to the experience. What a grand disappointment it turned out to be. What on earth has happened to people's taste buds? Are we so accustomed to 'fast food' that we are unable to differentiate between a great and a mediocre meal? There was absolutely nothing about the occasion that was outstanding. The service was marginal–the server was nice enough but good luck getting a second glass of water. The chicken was processed and not a fresh chicken breast, the mashed potatoes did not taste homemade even if they were (which suggests inferior potatoes or a substandard recipe or both)...the best part of the meal was the old tried-and-true bruschetta which was served before the salad.
